On Thursday night, the Braves announced they have released Jordan Luplow to allow him to pursue other opportunities. Luplow was having a fantastic Spring for the Braves, recording eight hits, including three homers in just 29 at-bats, good for a .984 OPS.
Luplow is a right-handed hitting outfielder who’d been competing for a bench job in camp. Atlanta signed Adam Duvall to a $3M pact Thursday afternoon to play that role instead.
